PDF Local processes files locally inside the Chrome extension page.

Data Collection

PDF Local does not collect, sell, transmit, or store personal information on a remote server.

File Handling

PDF and image files selected by the user are read in the browser for the requested operation. Generated output files are created locally and saved through Chrome's downloads API. Files do not leave the user's device for PDF processing.

Permissions

`downloads`: saves generated PDFs and PNG files.

`storage`: stores simple extension preferences such as the last selected tool or theme.

PDF Local does not request host permissions and does not inject content scripts into websites.

Network Use

The extension does not make network requests for PDF processing. All third-party PDF code is vendored inside the extension package.
